[6] “To know oneself is the real [...] avabhása – the umbra and penumbra of knowledge, they are not the real knowledge.” And the shástra says:

[12] So we clearly understand that to [...] knowledge, they are just the umbra and penumbra of knowledge. Generally, objective [...] root verb jiṋá].

[24] Shadows are then divided into two kinds – umbra and penumbra. [...] may be formed, but by seeing the penumbra, no idea can be formed. The earth [...] ráhu in astronomy, and the penumbra is called ketu. Ráhu and [...] then said to be in lunar eclipse:

[20] “Self-knowledge is true knowledge, [...] knowledge. They are the umbra and the penumbra of knowledge.” Táni [...] at the truth through it.”

[8] But Ráhu’s neck is [...] Ketu are successively umbra and penumbra, and for this reason, in the opinion [...] there would be a lunar eclipse.

[38] “Átmajiṋánam [...] knowledge, or you can say the umbra and penumbra of knowledge; hence they are not proper jiṋána.”

[14] It is said that the knowledge of [...] shadow has two parts, the umbra and penumbra. Similarly, apart from the knowledge of Brahma, the knowledge of anything else is the umbra and penumbra of knowledge, because that reflection, [...] knowledge is complete or perfect.

[7] All other knowledge is the penumbra of knowledge, not the original [...] located. This is not the right path.

[26] You, students of science, know [...] – the umbra portion, and the penumbra portion. Here Lord Shiva says that neither the umbra nor the penumbra are the actual jiṋánam. [...] knowledge. There lies the umbra and penumbra of shadows. By seeing the umbra and penumbra, you cannot have a proper idea [...] started this spiritual science.
