[9] A rśi [sage] has said: Samamantreńa [...] attending on the ailing non-Hindu Haridas, but Chaitanya Mahaprabhu found it impossible to remain indifferent to him. He took Haridas in his arms and nursed him carefully, and thus showed respect to human value.

[15] Many are aware of the fact that Mahaprabhu Caetanya Deva had a great devotee, Yavana Haridas by name, who was of a low caste. When Haridas would do kiirtan, Mahaprabhu would [...] cold. How troublesome for him! Haridas used to say, “Thakur, why [...] Mahaprabhu would still touch him. With tears in his eyes, Haridas complained, “Oh Lord, why [...] cold winter’s night.”

[16] Mahaprabhu said, “Haridas, you are such a good devotee, [...] also be benefited by your contact.
