We are happy to publish the Fourth Edition of Yogic Treatments and Natural Remedies in the interest of our esteemed readers. In this edition the book has been thoroughly compared with the original Bengali book and a good number of mistakes have been rectified. Some lines which were missing in previous editions have been added. Also some additional footnotes have been included which will certainly help the readers. Certain scientific names of the herbs have been corrected in this edition. Most importantly, colour and black-and-white pictures of different herbal plants have been provided for the first time in this book in order to help the readers to recognize the plants properly. In all, we expect that this book will now be more useful to our esteemed readers.

We acknowledge with a deep sense of gratitude the help and cooperation rendered by the following persons for this edition: Ácárya Viitarágánanda Avadhúta took meticulous care to read the book and suggest some necessary rectifications. He also provided us with scientific names for some herbal plants for this book. Ácárya Púrńajiṋánánanda Avadhúta, Aravinda Das and Mádhava Basak went to several places to take pictures of the plants and contributed those for the book. Ácárya Hirańmayánanda Avadhúta and Gautam Guha also sent us certain important pictures used in this book. The rest of the tasks were undertaken by the staff of Publications.

The Sanskrit and Bengali pronunciation keys in the Roman Saḿskrta section are the past work of Publications staff and those who have kindly volunteered their efforts. For any mistakes, the Publications staff is fully responsible.
